About Katherine
Musical Roots 🇮🇪
Hailing from the renowned Gavin family, known for their contribution to Irish music, Katherine naturally grew up immersed in traditional music. She first learned classical piano at age 5, began playing the traditional harp at age 11 and at just 14, she was already performing at events.
Performing Experience 🎼
Katherine's career has led her to perform at many prestigious events such as the Official Visit of Pope Francis to Ireland at Croke Park, 2018. She has also recorded for television for the programme Ceol an chlann ‘Gavin Family’.
International Acclaim ✈️
Katherine has graced many stages around the world, from the Saint Patrick’s Day festival in Verona, Italy to exclusive events in Dubai, as well as two 3-month residencies on Intercontinental Princess Cruises.
